Job Description:

Overview
- Verify healthcare provider information against data source records
- Perform work with a high degree of accuracy
- Conduct research and investigation of data elements
- Follow workflow processes and select options based on standards and specified criteria

Responsibilities

Verifications CheckList
- 1- Run ID (unless it's a SSN site)
- 2- Check middle names
- 3- Check addresses
- 4- Drag the check mark - again, middle name or address? Age when licensed? Are they a CNA?
- 5- Look for doc. Middle name, address?
- 6- If they are a Nurse, check Nursys
- 7- Check the battleflag
- 8- Check OIG, NPI, SAM
- 9- Then OPS with what I can

Investigations CheckList
- 1- Check all the sources I.E. nursys, NPI?
- 2- Attach the Doc's incase it is a match?
- 3- Fill out the Verified Category?
- 4- If there is an address did I put that in the notes.
- 5- Did we put down all the sources we checked in the notes?
- 6- Check the issue date and compare it to DOB?

Before completing a verification.
- 1- Did we make sure down at the bottom that we didn't make one indeterminant?
- 2- Attach all docs to matches.
