Global Salesforce Offer Management Leader at Cognizant in Bridgewater, New Jersey

Summary:
The Global Salesforce Offer Management Leader is accountable and responsible for creating and launching innovative software and service offerings aligned with Cognizant market strategy and client priorities.   The Offer Manager reports to the VP Global Salesforce Practice Leader, and will be accountable to lead and manage the product lifecycle activities of the Salesforce practice portfolio of products and services specific to the Salesforce practice.  The Offer Management Leader will be accountable to align offer development and enablement objectives in alignment with the sales and revenue targets as established by the VP Global Salesforce Practice leader.


Role & Responsibilities:

• Thought Leadership & Product Strategy.   Provide Strategy and thought leadership with Cognizant clients, in alignment with internal Cognizant Enterprise Application strategy, to identify and validate differentiated value propositions that drive revenue growth opportunities for the Salesforce Practice and Cognizant.



o Identify and define new offer concepts where Cognizant has a differentiated market opportunity

o Define and validate market opportunity of in-scope Cognizant Salesforce Offering Managers in conjunction with extended Cognizant team and vendor partner(s) (extended team includes; market research, sales leaders, solutioning, and delivery leaders)

o Identify target industry use cases and industry specific business outcomes for offer concepts.

o Identify and define Cognizant regional market opportunity and prioritization, over time, based on understanding of region specific market needs, and local Cognizant capabilities and account presence.

o Define product strategy, and related business case, that clearly illustrates offer growth potential, expected ROI, and required investment.


• Product Management.  The Offer Management Leader is responsible to lead and execute the product development process, for the planning, design, development, and launch of approved Salesforce software and service offers.  This includes the following deliverable responsibilities;



o Creation and on-going management of the Product Roadmap and Launch Plan for each offer. 

o Creation and on-going update of Sales Asset & Messaging deliverables. 

o Creation and on-going updated of Solutioning & Contracting deliverables.

o Coordination and planning with Delivery team for competency capacity and training

o Planning and on-going execution support of offer marketing and go-to-market activities


• Product Asset Development.  The Offer Management Leader is responsible to define and manage the creation of offer specific product assets required to create Cognizant differentiation in the marketplace;



o Product assets include; industry solution wrappers, integration accelerators, client demos, delivery methodology, functional extensions to partner applications, and any other assets that need to be created as identified in the product roadmap and launch plan. 

o The Offer Management leader will lead the asset development process, providing direction to the asset development team members on strategy, schedule, budget, and the investment governance approval process.

o The Offer Management leader will coordinate and manage vendor partner resources, in conjunction with the Cognizant partner alliance function, for joint asset development activities.


• Sales Enablement and Demand Generation.  The Offer Management Leader is responsible to work with the go-to-market and marketing teams to define an effective sales enablement and demand generation plan to meet sales pipeline growth objectives.



o Creation and on-going support of the offer specific GTM plan, by industry, and by region.

o Creation and on-going support of planned marketing and demand generation activities.

o The Offer Leader will directly participate in sales enablement and offer sales training activities as needed to meet the goals of the GTM plan.  These activities will include; quarterly sales enablement and account planning roadshows in each focus region, webinars, and development of related sales enablement and sales training collateral.


• Sales Support.  The Offer Leader will provide direct sales support for early adopter sales opportunities and key account sales opportunities on an on-going basis, to ensure client messaging, sales collateral,  and the offer solutioning process is executed properly and will be refined on an on-going basis.

Basic Qualifications:

 

• At least 15 years of progressive IT business solutions experience including ERP, CRM, HCM and SCM.

• Demonstrated experience in CRM with emphasis on Salesforce.

• At least 10 years of experience as a solutions offering manager.

• Proficient in various system development lifecycle management methodologies such as SAFE, Agile or Waterfall.

• Excellent verbal and written communications.

• Vast broad-based industry expertise with emphasis on Banking, Manufacturing, Energy, Telco, Media, Entertainment, Healthcare, and Life Sciences.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Salesforce certifications are preferred.
