The Manager, Facilities Analytics provides Global and local support to Facilities’ stakeholders and offices throughout the world. This individual collaborates closely with a range of cross-functional stakeholders, including Office Managers, international GM’s and other members of the Facilities. S/He also works closely with Corporate Accounting to obtain data required for support recommendations and strategic planning.
Manager, Facilities Analytics will adhere to relevant regulatory requirements and company Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) as appropriate.
Job Description:
Responsibilities:
Manage lease documents and track lease expirations, renewals, rates, and expenses.
Make recommendations on lease negotiations based on market data.
Collaborate with Real Estate professionals supporting the Facilities Department to understand and manage local markets.
Evaluate fixed versus variable costs to model controllable costs, aid in planned cost reduction and/or negotiated changes through the procurement process.
Participate in the Strategic Master Planning process to model capacity, financial and growth for various scenarios.
Provide analytical support in the creation of Facilities- based business cases and budget presentations.
Develop a system to review work orders and costs associated with work orders. The system should also conduct analyses that provide standard costs for various types of work orders to aid in planning and cost reduction.
Develop cash flow models for capital projects that span multiple fiscal years.
Performs other tasks and assignments as needed and specified by management.
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Business or Facilities Management, Engineering or Architect, and a minimum of 6 years’ experience in a pharmaceutical, biotechnology or related environment.
General understanding of Facilities Management and building systems.
Ability to understand, organize and communicate information in an easily understandable format tailored to a variety of audiences.
Proficiency with Microsoft Office.
Excellent verbal and written communication and skills.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively, as required, in a fast-paced, matrixed, team environment consisting of internal and external team members.
Analytical thinker with excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines.
Strong team player with good interpersonal skills and communication skills.
Excellent planning, organization and time management skills including the ability to support and prioritize multiple projects.
Proven ability to interact effectively and efficiently with different functional groups.
Experience working in a small but fast growing, entrepreneurial environment.
