Job Description:

Technical Lead

Qualification:

Bachelors in science , engineering or equivalent

Responsibility:

Participate in business requirements and functional requirements gathering, which involves a review of existing systems configurations and operating methods as well as understanding evolving business needs.

Seeking clarifications whenever its required from all the business stakeholders Providing necessary data mapping documents and helping Business Systems Analysts to refine the end user requirements

Create the Design Documents, Data Mapping documents and Unit test cases for all the requirements finalized by Business and other State stakeholders.

Follow processes created by Cognizant's project manager to validate end-to-end scenarios and business requirements and setting up the unit test data to meet all the specifications of the report guide.

Perform the Development and Unit testing using CICD pipelines and git

Code maintenance in Version Control systems in regular intervals.

Finalize the necessary deployment artifacts such as Design Documents, Unit Test Case document, Scheduler jobs setup document, Manifest and Labelling them appropriately for QA and UAT activities

Coordinate with QA ad UAT point of contacts until respective activities completed up to their satisfaction and taking forward the finalized code related documents into production deployment phase

Provide the post-production support

 

5+ years of experience in Big Data technologies and AWS

Experience in AWS stack including but not limited to VPC, Subnets, IAM, Glue, Lambda, Redshift, DynamoDB, ECS, KMS etc.

Strong Python/Scala, SQL skills, Teradata

Experience in Big data technologies including Spark, Kafka, Hive etc

Strong data analysis skills

Excellent communication skills. Very good written skills required and must be able to effectively communicate verbally with technical and business resources

Must come from a team environment (ideally from cross-functional)
