Job Description:

Attention Early Childhood Education Professionals! Are you interested in making a difference within an organization and in the life of a child? If so, Federation Early Learning Services (FELS) is the right place for you! We are looking for a Center Director for K'tonton Early Learning Center which is located in Delaware County, PA. The center director will oversee the administration of the center’s operations. In an air conditioned facility, our center has a license capacity of 69 children. K'tonton also has an enclosed playground, where children can run around freely while under supervision.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field with 30 credits in ECE.

  • Minimum of three (3) years child care center management experience (for children 6 weeks – 5 years of age)

  • Demonstrated success in a leadership role in the implementation of quality initiatives (e.g. NAEYC accreditation, Keystone Stars)

  • Excellent verbal, written and communication skills

  • Ability to manage a program and budget

  • Implement organizational policies and procedures

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite

  • Experience with hiring and on-boarding staff

  • Payroll experience and understanding of payroll systems

  • Experience with staff development/coaching/training
