Under limited supervision, the candidate will perform basic electric meter installations and/or retro fit gas modules for service changes for residential and business customers.

Responsibilities:

• Complete meter reads accurately and workload efficiently.


• Perform reads with safety in mind.


• Keep lines of communication open with management.


• Follow company guidelines set forth in employee and safety manuals.


• Be reassigned and willing to perform duties in new areas when asked.


• Respect and care for company issued equipment.


• Report any problems on a job site to an immediate supervisor.


• File error record reports, when necessary.


• Record and Report abnormal operating conditions.


• Maintain a good attendance record.


• Wear company issued uniform, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) and identification at all times during working hours.


• Perform other duties as assigned.

Skills

• Must possess good oral and written communications skills.


• Basic computer skills and knowledge required.

Abilities

• Ability to walk/stand for extended periods of time and enjoy working outdoors.


• Work outdoors through rough terrain and travel in inclement weather


• Must be able to lift 30+ pounds

• Be able to climb fences and frequently bend over to work in utility access areas.
