Faculty Manager, Online Learning, Public Health at American Career College in Dallas, Texas

Job Description:

SUMMARY: Reporting to the Program Dean/Director, this position is responsible for supporting the delivery of quality online instruction, curriculum, and faculty mentorship for the Public Health programs. The Online Faculty Manager, Online Learning provides effective guidance to online faculty regarding general day-to-day concerns that includes student, instructor, and curriculum matters. The Faculty Manager, Online Learning works closely with the Program Dean/Director to provide input to policies and procedures, and to develop proposals that support a transformative online student-centric experience, as stated in the University Mission.  Additional responsibilities include faculty scheduling, student retention initiatives, upholding academic policy, leading academic administration of courses, and ongoing quality assurance and performance assessment of faculty online instruction.

EDUCATION:

• Master’s degree in education, curriculum and instruction, or related discipline field required.


• Doctoral degree preferred in education, curriculum and instruction, or related discipline field preferred.
