What You'll Do
The Hospital Security Officer, under the direction of the Security Manager will perform duties that provide a safe and secure environment for patients, employees, visitors, and hospital property.

The successful candidate will be able to:

* Perform general security duties in the protection of persons and property, while enforcing all applicable polices, rules and regulations of the hospital

* Conduct "Foot Patrols" of interior and exterior areas of hospital

* Report suspicious activities and persons

* Provide assistance to employees, visitors, customers and patients in a courteous and professional manner

* Complete detailed shift, narrative and daily activity reports

* Respond to and assist with emergency situations, which may require additional security, fire and police department.

* Identify irregular or unsafe conditions, hazards, unlocked doors, security violations and unauthorized persons

What You'll Bring

* Must possess a high school diploma or equivalent

* Ability to learn company specific computer programs and be able to demonstrate a basic knowledge level of Microsoft Office Applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

* Be willing and able to maintain professional standards of practice and adhere to Hillcrest's Code of Conduct policies at all times

* CLEET Certification of Armed Security Officer

* Possess a valid Oklahoma state Drivers License

* Ability to demonstrate excellent communication, interpersonal and customer service skills

* Willing and able to work days, nights and weekend shifts
