Overview

i3 is seeking a Senior Level 3D Artist. Candidates will provide knowledge and experience that demonstrates a strong skills in photo-realistic, immersive 3D design and development. You will possess excellent modeling, texturing, lighting, rigging, and animation skills. You will work directly with supervisors, designers, and engineers in the support and creation of interactive mobile, web and desktop trainers, serious games, and simulations.

You will also have knowledge and experience in reading and translating technical information and conceptual ideas into high-end interactive multimedia applications. You will design and create vehicles, props, and sets for real-time interactive 3D training. You must be able to work collaboratively with engineers and other artists on projects ensuring successful on-time delivery.

It is required that you submit an online portfolio of your work with your application. The best portfolios typically display a proficiency in creating photorealistic hard surface 3D assets for real-time pipelines. The desired portfolio will show the utilization of high to low poly modeling workflows and an understanding of PBR texturing. We also recommend displaying a shot breakdown specifying your direct contributions. Including texture sets, wireframes, and clean renders of finished work in a real-time renderer is preferred.

Qualifications

Required qualifications:
BA/BS Degree in Game Development, Game Design, 3D Art, or related field, and 5+ years of experience - or - a minimum of eight (8) years' professional experience is required with no degree.
- Experience with texturing suites (such as Substance Painter, Quixel, etc.).
- Experience with Maya, 3D Studio Max, or equivalent

Security Clearance:
Candidate must be able to obtain and maintain a Secret Clearance. Active Secret Clearance is preferred.

Desired qualifications:
The following would be considered a plus:Knowledge and experience with the game engines (such as Unity, Unreal, CryEngine, etc.).
- Knowledge and experience developing and optimizing for mobile devices (iOS, Android, etc.).
- Knowledge and experience developing immersive 3D technologies (such as AR/VR).
- Knowledge and experience with ZBrush, Mudbox, or equivalent.
- Knowledge and experience with photo editing software, such as Photoshop, GIMP, etc.
