Your role:
You are responsible for the evaluation, monitoring and quality improvement of supply chain partners. You will perform supplier facility audits; resolve design, workmanship, material and process issues affecting product quality; and initiate respective corrective actions and support MRB evaluations, development of Incoming Quality requirements and Statistical analysis of incoming and Supplier process data. You will issue and monitor CAPAs, and work with suppliers to achieve timely and comprehensive corrective actions. Furthermore you lead in Supplier Quality improvement teams, manage supplier yield/data reporting and ensure continuous improvement. Will work with Product Management, Engineering, Supply Chain, and Suppliers to support new product introductions and legacy products and with suppliers to improve quality, reduce costs and maintain on-time deliveries.
Willingness to travel (20-30%).
Who you are:
* Degree in engineering or technical discipline, or equivalent in combination of experience and education
* Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills in English
* Detail oriented with strong analytical and problem solving skills
* Experience in Project, Minitab and Supplier Quality Management.
* Knowledge of regulatory standards including ISO 13485 and/or ISO 9001. Knowledge of FDA QSRs a plus
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor's Degree in engineering or Biology, Biochemistry
* 5+ years of experience in Supplier Quality Engineering
Preferred Qualifications:
* Excellent technical writing and verbal communication skills in English
* Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving skills
* Experience in MS Project, Minitab, and Supplier Quality Management.
* Knowledge of regulatory standards including ISO 13485 and/or ISO 9001. Knowledge of FDA QSRs a plus
* Ownership of managing your own projects
