JOB DESCRIPTION
The INSTRUCTIONAL DESIGNER role is responsible for design, development and maintenance of learning content to ensure end-user adoption and a high impact learner experience across AMN Healthcare. This position requires someone who is capable of working in a fast-paced and agile environment, and who builds trust with business leaders to ensure training deliverables meet and exceed the needs of the business.
JOB TASKS:
* Design, develop, and facilitate creative, learner-centered, performance-based training programs, modules, and supporting materials in multiple modalities including instructor led, virtual instructor-led, blended learning, e-learning modules, videos, job aids, and facilitator guides.
* Create graphics, visual aids, and learning marketing materials to support the development of content for HSG team members and leaders.
* In collaboration with business leaders, develop course assessments and evaluation metrics that assess business impact and regularly report on findings.
* Develop partnership with internal stakeholders and learning team members.
* Maintain project documentation and course folders
* Curate resources
* Collaborate with members of LTD, subject matter experts, and leaders to develop content to support training needs assessment

* All AMN team members and leaders as end-users or business stakeholders
* Project leads (HSG Float Pool Project team)
* Learning and Talent Development team members
* HR Business Partners
MINIMUM EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
* Bachelors degree
PREFERRED EDUCATION/CERTIFICATIONS:
* Instructional Design Certificate
MINIMUM EXPERIENCE:
* 2-5 years in Learning & Development role with strong emphasis in instructional design
* Experience designing content in the Articulate 360 suite, especially Storyline
PREFERRED EXPERIENCE
* Experience leading small to medium-sized projects with defined objectives, deliverables and timelines
* Experience supporting complex change management initiatives across organizations with multiple business lines and locations
* Experience exercising independent judgment and providing consultation to learning peers
