JOB SUMMARY:
Under general supervision responsible for creating cyber-intelligence solutions to prevent internal or external attacks or attempts to infiltrate company email, data, e-commerce and web-based systems. Implement and support technologies deployed across application, network/perimeter, data, endpoint, identity & access, and mobility domains. Researches attempted or successful efforts to compromise systems security and designs countermeasures. Provides information to management regarding the negative impact on the business caused by theft, destruction, alteration or denial of access to information and systems. Architect and design Systems for Fraud Control and Aviation Security.
JOB SPECIFIC INFORMATION:
Provides the necessary documentation. Works with databases, APIs, servers, networks and various programming languages. Under minimal supervision, designs, develops, and maintains data pipelines for real-time/batch analysis, modeling, reporting, and data collection, ensuring data reliability, efficiency, and quality. Builds, deploys, and maintains data processing infrastructure that supports complex analysis across data science, product, and strategic teams. Evaluates and implements the best tools and processes for data access and analysis, including large data sets. Adopts best practices to ensure security, privacy and compliance for all data assets. Oversees CI/CD processes within the team to ensure sustainable and efficient deployment of code. Develops solutions supporting the movement of data and information assets following API-First / Service-Oriented Architecture principles. Coaches and mentors less senior team members to drive results. Communicates effectively with technical and non-technical stakeholders, including senior leadership. Leads and works with cross-functional teams. Passionate about eCommerce Security and Fraud control.
KNOWLEDGE/SKILLS CONSIDERED A PLUS:
* Data Science / Engineer expertise as a thought leader and practitioner
* Hands-on experience in writing complex, highly optimized SQL queries across large data sets
* Experience in ETL using Ab Initio.
* Experience working in Big Data technologies like Hadoop, Spark, Hive, Kafka, etc., with understanding of best practices used throughout industry
* Development experience within Cloud technologies like Microsoft Azure or Google Cloud Platform
* Experience in designing and executing data pipelines using GDPR and private data
* Experience creating and maintaining fully automated CI/CD pipelines
* Process improvement experience and training/application of quality management processes and principles, e.g. QDM expert, Six Sigma, and Lean
* Understanding of the latest technology and communicating knowledge across team
* Use of data visualization tools such as Power BI, Spotfire, Tableau
* Experience working with Data Scientists and Applied Scientists

Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in computer science, information systems and/or equivalent formal training or work experience. Five (5) years of experience in IT information security.
