Description:
The Sr. Analyst, Sales Operations provides tactical and
strategic support to the Sales channel. The person in
this position supports the sales forecasting, reporting
activity and the sales planning process for the Saputo
Dairy USA Sales organization. The role broadly
encompasses developing sales capability through process
improvement and development of tools,
techniques/strategies, and analysis.
* Support the integration of insights from consumer /
panel, financial metric and volume/sales data into
strategic insights that enable effective and
strategic and tactical decision making
* Assist with various cross functional teams/
department ad hoc volume / customer gross profit
projects
* Track ongoing new business and business losses
through pipeline summaries.
* Lead the development of Sales RSM dashboards for
ongoing customer MBR reporting and tracking of
business results
* Coordinate Sales forecast process with Demand
Planning Team. Oversee the Sales team reporting on
monthly/ quarterly forecasts, providing roll-ups
that will highlight risks and opportunities
* Coordinate trade and deduction resolution between
the RSMs and HQ finance
* Project manage the new business commercialization
process from the time of winning the business to
launch
* Support the Commercial Finance and Sales Admin teams
in Sales bottoms up Customer AOP development
* Support gatekeeping function to any given Sales
volume/ margin planning initiative
* Produce ad hoc business analytics, and reporting
Requirements:
* Someone with a minimum of 3-5 years experience in
sales or finance support having gained understanding
of sales practices and principles and experienced
for category management strategies and tactics
* Someone with a bachelor s in business, Finance,
Statistics, or equivalent
* Someone who is self-sufficient and dynamic working
well in a matrix environment with deadlines and
shifting priorities
* Exudes Excellent communication skills
* Manages multiple projects to completion with minimum
managerial oversight
* Experience using CRM tools and/or software is a plus
* Demonstrated experience in sales or finance support,
highly developed business acumen with solid
analytical experience working with diverse group of
people internal and external to organization
