Job Description:

Role: HW TEST ENGINEER

UST Global is looking for a HW TEST ENGINEER to build end to end business solutions and to work with one of the leading semiconductor developers in US. The ideal candidate must possess excellent background on Front end and back end development technologies. The candidate must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills with the ability and collaborate effectively with domain and technical.

What will you be doing:
Assemble; test and debug PC systems with all peripherals and SW packages to enable the team to test new GPUs.
Execute tests and debug GPUs on PC systems through extensive automated infrastructure.
Set up and operate lab equipment like scopes; thermal solutions; debugger systems ; data acquisition systems as needed for testing and debug.
Work with multiple SW automation tools to execute silicon; system test plans and help identify or fix simple script issues.
Independently handle a group of systems in the test farm to ensure uninterrupted operation ; assist in debug of basic PCB or chip issues ; document observations and report results to engineers
Work closely and actively with engineers; other technicians to collect required data on the test systems to solve silicon bring-up problems.

What we need to see:
1-2 years of relevant industry experience
Good understanding of PC systems; PC components and network connections.
Basic knowledge on scripting and coding is required.
Experience with handling lab tools (oscilloscopes; multimeters; logic analyzers).
Prior work on CPU or GPU processors would be a plus
Excellent problem solving; teamwork; and interpersonal skills

Location
This position is based in Santa Clara;USA UST will provide relocation assistance.
