Job Description:

JOB SUMMARY
This job is responsible for overseeing all aspects of Charter s Procurement Metrics and Reporting, Analytics and Supplier Diversity functions. This position retains overall responsibility for providing quality procurement analytics, business/market intelligence to the business for internal and external reporting. This position is also responsible for driving the growth of the Supplier Diversity program and as well as establishing the overall procurement organization training and development program.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Develop, implement and maintain the approach for all Procurement Analytics including working with the Strategic Sourcing Category owners to define and maintain the taxonomy necessary to support short term and long term reporting needs as well as the ERP Analytics team to determine reporting capabilities of our ERP systems.

Provide strategic direction and guidance to the Procurement Analytics team members/direct reports with specific data reporting requirements.

Responsible for all Procurement Metrics and reporting. Identify and develop the process and partner with the ERP Operations team on the tools utilized to report on Procurement metrics and goals.

Design, develop and implement proactive, strategic reporting capabilities that meet the Procurement Organization and other business needs. Develop specific reports (e.g., Supplier Diversity) that facilitate discussions with the BUs to develop spend goals and to measure progress.

Establish, maintain, and publish measurable performance metrics and benchmarks.

Identify the best sources for benchmarking for the Procurement organization and measuring the organization s performance to benchmarks. Identify the best sources market intelligence for each category and proactively provide Strategic Sourcing with insights to deliver or create value.

Responsible for identification and selection of the tools and process uses to assess our supplier s financial and commercial risk.

Develop and implement overall Supplier Diversity strategy and program, aligned with Chief Diversity Officer s guidance.

Support broader Supplier Diversity internal and external reporting requirements and presentations for Supplier Diversity in effort to meet the needs of both internal and external customers as well as statutory and regulatory compliance.

Manage and support the Supplier Diversity team.

As needed, attend and present at strategic Supplier Diversity events and builds relationships with diverse organizations, diverse suppliers and regulatory agencies.
Identify and drive best practices and benchmarks with other MSOs and other industries in effort to drive continuous growth in our supplier diversity program.

Promote and maintain the Spectrum Brand while conducting business in an ethical and professional manner to ensure avoidance of potential conflicts of interest.

Identify for the Procurement organization career growth and development opportunities to ensure Procurement team members possess sufficient training and required skill levels to support our business partners and improve the company s competitive advantage.

Promote and support ongoing teamwork within the department and look for opportunities to cross-train certain individuals for more flexibility within the group.

Perform other duties as requested.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

Education
Bachelor s degree or equivalent experience required (Data analytics-related, Procurement/Purchasing or related degree preferred)
Master s degree in business or operations management-related field a plus

Related Work Experience Number of Years
Indirect and Direct Strategic Sourcing experience 10+
Demonstrated utilization of data analytics to drive business results 8+
Managing and developing employees (preferably in large organizations) 5+
Direct experience working with diverse supplier organizations (chamber of commerce, NMSDC, WBENC, etc.)
