Summary:
MAYINSTITUTEis currently seeking aSpeech & Language Pathologist inEarly Intervention for our West Springfield, MA Program to provide direct active consultation to ourchildren from birth through age three. Our early intervention services incorporate best practices in early childhood education. We offer all supports within a child's natural environment. Our May Center staff accompany enrolled children to their childcare facilities (centers and family homes) where we encourage peer modeling and facilitate small group activities.
Responsibilities:
- Assessing children using age-appropriate testing materials
- Developing formal and informal programs
- Providing direct andconsultative services to children and their caregivers
- Assisting in the development and implementation of IFSP outcomes and strategies
- Attending IEP and team meetings (when applicable)
Qualifications:
- MACCC-SLP or CF-SLP licensure required
- Previous experience with augmentative communication and/or children with autism is desired
- Clinical Fellows (CFY) welcome to apply
