Power BI Developer

Location and Travel: Bellevue, WA

Job Description: We are looking for a Power BI Developer who will be responsible for defining, analyzing and documenting project requirements, clearly communicating these to the development team, and conducting software quality assurance. The person in this role has experience with owning an effort and driving it through to completion in an Agile environment.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Responsibilities are to design, develop and provide high level support for reports and data repositories in Verint.


• The requirement is to handle data transformation between data sources and targets, normalize databases and query them using relational database queries (Transact SQL) or OLAP queries against SQL Analysis server.


• Some work may be done with business analysis leaders and may involve supporting business users with providing tools that will suffice their needs.


• The candidate will need to help creating and then follow specific governance rules that will be implemented in the BI project management, deployment and support


• Know the latest on best-in-class technology solutions

Qualifications:

• 4+ years of experience as a BI developer / BI Analyst in a global company such as Verint.


• 2+ years of shown SQL Server Analysis Server (SSAS cubes, OLAP) experience with development, support, and troubleshooting.


• Good understanding of ETL processes, data warehouses and related tools


• Hands on MS SQL skills, familiar with MS SQL databases (normalizing databases, complex SQL queries, writing views stored procedures and user defined functions Etc.).
