Position Overview

We are seeking an experienced Business Solutions Architect to join our growing organization with expertise in ERP, CRM systems, & applications particularly focused on Inquiry-to-Order and Order-to-Cash.  In this position, you will analyze existing systems for improvement, recommend new system processes, and keep detailed reports of all structural and process changes. You must follow best practices and align with company goals while creating better procedures and solutions to increase performance and revenue.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.


  • Determine operational objectives by studying business functions; gathering information; evaluating output requirements and formats.

  • Design new computer systems and applications by analyzing requirements; constructing workflow charts and diagrams; studying system capabilities; writing specifications.

  • Improve systems by studying current practices; designing modifications.

  • Recommend controls by identifying problems; writing improved procedures.

  • Defines project requirements by identifying project milestones, phases, and elements; forming project team; establishing project budget.

  • Monitor project progress by tracking activity; resolving problems; publishing progress reports; recommending actions.

  • Maintain system protocols by writing and updating procedures.

  • Provide references for users by writing and maintaining user documentation; providing help desk support; training users.

  • Maintain user confidence and protect operations by keeping information confidential.

  • Prepare technical reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends.

  • Maintain professional and technical knowledge by attending educational workshops; reviewing professional publications; establishing personal networks; benchmarking state-of-the-art practices; participating in professional societies.

  • Contribute to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

  • Work with the appropriate Business Relationship Managers to review and understand the business’ expectations, evaluate requirements and propose options.

  • Provide visibility to the business and centralized Information Services team for ongoing IT initiatives.

  • Build collaborative relationships across the organization and with business unit personnel and management to affect a unified and customer-focused End User Service experience.

 

Qualifications

Sufficient education, training and/or work experience to demonstrate possession of the following knowledge, skills, and abilities.

Education/Experience


  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Computer Science or Information Technology from an accredited college or university, or equivalent experience.  

  • At least 10+ years of increasingly responsible experience in information technology technical support

  • Relevant experience working within a large, multifaceted organization, consisting of cross-functional teams.

  • Project management experience is preferred.

Knowledge/Skill Requirements


  • Experience with ERP systems (Oracle, NetSuite, SAP, Dynamics) is required.

  • Experience with CRM systems is required, Salesforce, Hybris, Dynamics or Netsuite is preferred.

  • Prior experience with modern business application tools like ServiceNow, Tableau, Dell Boomi, Mulesoft or Celigo.

  • Understanding of business analysis principles, processes, and techniques.

  • Ability to develop and prepare use cases, functional specifications, and technical requirements.

  • Demonstrates strong analytical and problem-solving skills.

  • Ability to make sound decisions in a manner consistent with the essential job functions Ability to effectively work alongside and communicate with people with a wide range of skills, experience, cultures and capabilities.

  • Prior experience working in the manufacturing industry and implementing scalable, sustainable, global ERP systems.

  • Working knowledge of business and systems processes such as Sales Order entry, Pricing, Customer Master Data Management, Sales Invoicing, Shipping, Inventory Management, and Sales Invoicing.

  • Demonstrated ability to deliver business value through IT, balancing drive for continuous improvement with respect of local company culture and processes.

  • Demonstrated commitment toward customer service.
