Job Description:

Responsible for directing and coordinating departmental operations in an efficient and cost-effective manner. Required to hire, train and schedule staff to meet workflow requirements; conduct performance evaluations and provide career development guidance; possess a strong working knowledge of distribution center operations; will have prior experience in leadership roles and have demonstrated ability to build a positive working relationship with individuals at all levels.


Position Analysis:



  • Provide workflow assignments and daily supervision to maintenance staff.

  • Coordinate repair procedures between maintenance staff, operational staff and facilities manager.

  • Monitor and maintain documentation of repairs for future reference.

  • Work with department staff to prepare project reports, including materials used, to aid in maintaining proper spare parts inventory levels.

  • Make recommendations for new or upgraded systems to attain optimum department efficiency.

  • Ensure proper department staffing levels to meet operational needs.
