As the Specialist, Accounts Receivable, you will review, research and resolve disputed invoices. What you'll do on a typical day:

• Research, audit and correct disputed invoices submitted by internal and external customers


• Determine root cause of disputes, report process deficiencies and recommend needed improvements


• Analyze invoices for billing accuracy; ensure compliance with Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) audit requirements


• Audit and process rebate incentive payments


• Process corrections and disputes (DRPs, WNI appeals, MASS re-rates and overcharge claims); partner with other departments to ensure accurate invoicing and dispute resolution


• Prepare and submit coding requests; perform imaging


• Respond to customer telephone and email inquiries in a timely manner; maintain departmental productivity goals

At a minimum, you'll need:

• 1 year of experience in freight transportation or logistics

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent related work or military experience


• Advanced computer skills with an emphasis on Microsoft Office (Excel)


• Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize work to meet company and departmental goals


• Strong ability to interpret contracts and analyze data to determine the root cause of issues


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including a professional appearance and demeanor, excellent phone etiquette and a good vocabulary
