Roles, Responsibilities and Qualifications:


  • Design and develop a single web-based training module that contains video and/or animation for a process or function within our manufacturing, process engineering or equipment engineering departments. 

  • Work cross-functionally with SMEs across Manufacturing, MTO and Operations Training & Learning Services departments.

  • Create an end to end training gap analysis process to scale all value streams. 

  • Perform a gap analysis of training content for one or more Manufacturing value streams.

  • Itemize any existing raw training content (video, graphics, PowerPoint) and organize using Box or similar storage option, potentially editing/cutting video into manageable pieces.

  • Highly motivated, creative individual with the proven ability to think innovatively in a fast-paced environment.

  • Self-starter with a strong track record of high performance and superior delivery on deadlines.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to exert influence to achieve the goals of the project in a collaborative environment are required.

  • Strong record of leadership in an academic or extracurricular setting is required.

  • Advanced user of all Microsoft Windows Suite; Superior execution in PowerPoint is a must.

  • Experience using Articulate 360 products, or equivalent eLearning authoring tool(s) is required.

  • Basic understanding of adult learning theory as it applies to the design and development of engaging learning content preferred.

  • Experience with WBT authoring, graphics, sound, and video editing software (e.g., Adobe Dreamweaver, Fireworks, Flash, Photoshop, Captivate, Presenter; Articulate Presenter, etc.) is preferred.

Education:


  • Must be a current student enrolled in a Bachelor's program

  • Preferred fields of study: Educational or Instructional Technology preferred.  Will also consider Digital Art, Videography, Graphic Design, Web Design 

  •  Rising senior or graduating senior- no other degrees will be considered at this time.

Our internship opportunities for the 2020-2021 academic year will be completely virtual. Illumina’s internship program runs for 9 weeks during the summer (40-hour a week, paid roles.) To be an Illumina intern, you must be available to work during our program dates: June - August.

The Illumina internship program only supports F-1 visa status; no other visa types are eligible. F-1 students must have at least 3 months of CPT or OPT eligibility to participate.
