If you are a Product Management or Customer Service professional looking for an opportunity to grow, Emerson has an exciting opportunity for you!  Based in our Cudahy, WI location, under the direction of the Account Delivery Manager, you will be responsible for the team's successful delivery of Engineer to Order (ETO) and Configure to Order (CTO) customer projects while creating an exceptional customer buying experience. As a Customer Service Representative (CSR), you will be responsible for supporting sales, entering orders, following up on project status, and coordinating shipping schedules.

You will work closely with the project team that includes sales, application engineering, planning, purchasing, production, finance, and logistics for the successful delivery of client projects.  CSR’s are expected to be customer focused, developing deep meaningful customer relationships, while meeting Vilter and Emerson business objectives.  

Our business is fast paced and complex, our customers demand excellence; as such, you must build strong customer relationships and deliver customer-centric solutions on time, within budget and of quality.  Success in this position also requires that you hold yourself and others accountable to meet internal and external commitments.  You must work collaboratively across all functional areas internally as well as with our customers and their partners.  Effective communication across the business is essential for our customer’s success as well as our success.      

AS A CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE, YOU WILL: 

 


  • Be responsible for getting requested information from the Sales Team

  • Ensure accountability across the organization to deliver to our customer’s expectations - clearly convey to all functional areas the critical path milestones to meet customer expectations.  Cross functional communication is essential

  • Monitor project status and make sure the project is moving through the process

  • Develop strong customer relationships to favorably position Vilter for future business

  • Continuous communication with customers is key to instilling trust in our capabilities

  • Clearly represent the team's consensus in all client communications

  • Advocate for customer’s philosophy both internally and externally while balancing Vilter’s business objective

  • Foster cross functional communications on all levels


 

WHO YOU ARE:

You build the customer relationships. You create a plan and outline for various audiences. You consider the integration points of pieces and parts working together. You are visible and approachable.

REQUIRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:


  • High School Diploma

  • 3 years of related experience

  • Prior experience in business to business customer service.

  • Proficiency with MS Office Suite

  • Good Communication Skills

  • Good Organizational Skills

  • Legal authorization to work in the United States - Sponsorship will not be provided for this role.


 PREFERRED EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:  


  • 5 years of related experience

  • Prior Emerson experience

  • Project management experience

  • Lean manufacturing experience
