JOB DESCRIPTION

Our SaaS team is engaged with our R&D organizations on new product introduction, creation of DevOps workflows, deployment and operations of Nokia product on OpenStack and AWS cloud infrastructure. Student can work directly with our Nokia SaaS Production Operations team. Responsibilities will adjust to match student's skills with team needs.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES & COMPETENCIES

TYPICAL ACTIVITIES MAY INCLUDE:

* Configuration of monitoring for Nokia solutions for customers

* Scripting of integrations between Nokia solutions and our monitoring systems

* Programming of DevOps tools and test cases for automation of complex deployments

* Triage and troubleshooting of solution problems in our SaaS environment

* Refinement and enforcement of security policies

QUALIFICATIONS

* Pursuing a 4year bachelor s degree in computer science/Computer Engineering/Software Engineering

* Unix command line skills via SSH required

* Scripting skills required in Perl, python or shell

* familiarity with DevOps tools Puppet or Ansible preferred

* familiarity with cloud technologies OpenStack or AWS preferred

* Firm understanding of good Internet security practices
