Your Role: What you'll be doing

- Lead and manage various organizations in Production Operations (Safety, Quality, Delivery, and Cost).
- Provide staffing, managing disciplinary corrective action, training, and weekly monitoring of cost/schedule performance, motivating the workforce and identifying and clearing constraints to production.
- Will direct union hourly work force and salaried support staff.
- Responsible for ensuring safety, quality, cost, and schedule of production hardware.
- Responsible for continuous improvement for work areas.
- Responsible for building a capable workforce into high performance work teams utilizing perfect product delivery concepts.
- Must be willing to work different shifts if required and willing to work overtime.
Your Background: What education and experience you'll need
At least 6 years applicable experience in the associated technical or administrative area. Project management or team lead experience.
Your Background: What skills you'll need

- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related discipline or a combination of education, training, and aerospace experience in lieu of degree.
- Work effectively in a team environment and demonstrate leadership skills.
- Demonstrate the ability to complete tasks regardless of obstacles all the while maintaining safe and efficient operations.
- Recognize and respond effectively to unexpected situations and tight deadlines.
- Demonstrate flexibility and adaptability to changing task priorities and work situations.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office Applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Project)
- Good oral and written skills
- This position will require working extended hours and /or weekends along with off shifts, as necessary to support testing and production delivery activities.
