We are looking to hire new entry-level IT Service Desk Specialists in Coronado (San Diego), California. What Will You Be Doing:
You will be help clients and customers with their IT issues and provide remote support for computers, printers, mobile devices, and peripherals.
Qualifications:
* 1 year of previous IT troubleshooting experience with hardware and software
* High School Diploma or GED
* Active security clearance: Active Secret or Top Secret
* CompTIA A+ or Network + CE certificate in hand
* Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows 7, 8 and 10 operating system
* Experience with IT information assurance and cybersecurity
* Experience with Remote Desktop
* Experience with Active Directory to include account creation/management and File Share permissions management.
* Basic network troubleshooting experience (TCP/IP)
* Previous experience with IT peripheral, accessory and mobile device support, such as printers, scanners, MFDs, and mobile devices
* Strong customer service and polite communication skills
* Experience with service desk ticket management software such as HP Service Manager, Remedy, or similar.
* Strong documentation skills for troubleshooting and ticket handling
* Ability to type 20 words a minute or better.
Job Details:
Location: Coronado/San Diego, CA 92135
Contract: 5 months
Start Date: 11/16/2020
End Date: 12/27/2020 with possibility of extension until March 2021
Pay: $26.50-/hourly (50k/yearly)
