Description
Job Responsibilities Include:
* Initiates and facilitates kick-off and inception activities
* Responsible for daily scrum calls, planning, demo and retrospective meetings
* Work closely with product owner towards backlog readines
* Track various Agile metrics and take appropriate corrective actions
* Effectively communicates with cross functional teams
* Interacts seamlessly with both business and project teams
* Facilitates discussions that lead to the resolution of project issues and development impediments
* Reports project progress to Program Management and executive level stakeholders
* Properly manages shared resources across multiple projects
* Ensures all proper training and user documentation has been implemented
* Create overall execution plan and manage progress in accordance with time, budget and scope baselines
* Basic Requirements:
* 8+ years of overall experience
* 3+ years of experience as a project manager
* 3+ years acting as a Scrum Master in software development environment working with multiple teams
Preferred Skills:
* Hands-on Experience with Jira, Confluence
* Deep familiarity and understanding of Agile practices, SCRUM, Test Driven Development & Kanban
* Ability to mentor and guide project team members.
* Has working knowledge and understanding of Agile Software Development Methodology and incremental delivery
* Exhibits a desire to continuously improve, and shows a track record of improvement
* Communicates openly and frequently with stakeholders and subject matter experts regarding the state of the project
* Actively contributes to the company's Agile and Lean Community through participation in the internal Agile Community of Practice and Scrum Master Forums
Education
* Undergraduate degree or equivalent combination of education
* Scrum Master certification (CSM)
