Job Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent is required.
- Applicants with acting or theater experience are encouraged to apply, though not required.
- Access to a laptop or tablet with webcam and microphone, as well as access to stable internet connection is required.
Summary of Job:
In a virtual clinical setting, independently, consistently and accurately portrays specific emotions, behaviors and disease symptoms while interacting with learners in the mental and behavioral health care field during simulated patient encounters designed to enable experiential learning and/or assessment of learners' skills. Works varied hours on an on-call basis, remotely, as needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Memorizes a case script detailing specific emotions, behaviors, and disease signs/symptoms for presentation during simulated learning situations. Presents case information in a standardized manner, as elicited by learners during simulated interactive patient history and/or medical examinations. Remains in a specific patient character as trained when responding to learner questions. Maintains confidentiality of information related to cases, student behaviors and feedback evaluations. Provides educationally constructive verbal feedback within a structured format, as appropriate to the position. Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned.

Supervisory Responsibilities for: None.
Compliance requirement for annual completion of KPI forms
Regular and Reliable Attendance is required

- Ability to accurately and convincingly maintain a specified character as trained.
- Ability to work flexible hours on a scheduled on-call basis.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
- Ability to recall case information, as cued by learners in a virtual role-play situation.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of case and learner information.
- Ability to understand and follow directions and incorporate trainer feedback.
