Job Description:

Arcadis is seeking an entry or Junior level Project Assistant to join our team in supporting project administration work for multiple project managers in our Columbus office.

This is an exciting opportunity for a self-motivated individual to join our team locally with support from one of the best-qualified consulting firms in the country. In this position you will work on project specific work, such as: tracking progress of various ongoing projects, preparing reports regarding contracts for management use, arranging meetings, monitoring schedules, project budgets and preparing and distributing routine correspondence related to the projects, for a variety of project teams simultaneously.

Position responsibilities include, but are not limited to


  • Support Project Managers by assisting with set-up and monitoring of projects; regularly updating labor and expense forecasts in the firm's Project Management tools (based on Microsoft Project, Deltek Vision and Oracle).

  • Assist Project Managers with the preparation of meeting notes and other non-technical deliverables.

  • Prepare summary reports and presentations for Project Manager and Project Team members.

  • Assist with review, production, and delivery of project reports, memos and presentations, as needed.

  • As a backup to administrative staff, occasionally assist with typical duties such as but not limited to setting up meetings, answering phones, making travel arrangements, helping direct incoming calls, and document production.

  • Aid in the preparation, formatting, and assembly of deliverables and upload deliverables to client sites

  • Support project managers and team members with corporate projects tracking applications including expenses, conferences applications and travel planning.

  • Track and ensure health and safety measures are applied properly to ensure the safety of project team members.

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal

  • Exceptional time management and organization skills with the ability to wok under time constraints and prioritize/ plan work, while working on multiple tasks for several projects/ managers simultaneously

  • Demonstrated ability to work effectively with clients and individuals at all levels of the company

  • Excellent analytical skills, with a strong attention to detail, especially with numbers and invoice review.

  • Good experience with Microsoft Word and PowerPoint or other professional report production tools.

Required Qualifications:


  • BS Degree in Communication, Business Administration, or related field or equivalent experience


  • OR HS Diploma or Equivalent 3 years of relavent work experience
