Job Description:

Microtech Machine in Wheeling, IL is looking for a CMM Programmer for a 1st shift opportunity.

Responsibilities:

• Perform inspection of manufactured Aerospace parts, involving first piece, in process and outgoing products, following customer drawings, internal instructions, and interpretation of results


• Perform Quality Audits and maintain Quality Documentation, C of Cs, material and process certifications, gages and equipment calibration


• Validate quality processes by establishing product specifications and quality attributes


• Review customer drawings and specifications for manufacturing feasibility

• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and understand GD&T


• Ability to measure and handle small parts and large parts


• Ability to use Typical Measuring Equipment: Micrometer; caliper; optical / vision comparator; height gages etc.


• Ability to program and operate ZEISS CMM (Calypso)


• ISO9001/AS9100 background a plus

• Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) (Zeiss)
