Where You’ll Work

This Internship will support the Financial Planning and Analysis team with the team’s primary focus being to provide analytical support for finance planning team managers as well as business partners within ESI’s Product and Pharma Management teams.

The intern will be exposed to development and preparation of budgeting, forecasting, reporting and analysis related to volume and gross margin. The internship position will have more of a project support focus and will be exposed to key projects and leaders for valuable knowledge and insights.

What You’ll Do

• Assist in data analysis and identifying process improvements


• Work on key projects to support financial planning and analysis


• Assist with gross margin reporting, forecasting, month end reporting, P&L, and more


• Present in front of small groups of internal and external teams


• Assist with annual budget development and ad-hoc projects as needed


• Demonstrate initiative with commitment and ability to deliver results

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in an Bachelors program; Junior or Senior preferred


• Intermediate knowledge in Excel (Pivot tables, VLOOKUPS)


• Preferred majors/minors include Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field


• Working knowledge MS Office, specifically PowerPoint


• Excellent verbal and written communication skills


• Strong business aptitude


• Excellent analytical skills


• Ability to work independently and as part of a team


• Self-starter who is able to work in a fast-paced environment


• Availability to work 40 hours a week during the summer intern program
