Job Description:

DESCRIPTION: Gather business requirements and design and develop software. Develop android application of a next generation financial application. Develop, test, debug, and document applications to satisfy business requirements. Enhance unit and regression tests for the existing code base to mitigate change risk. Ensure quality assurance for mobile application development. Assist in software release processes including documenting development steps and checkout of changes. Serve as primary point of contact for development. Liase between project resources charged with doing the business analysis and with the development teams who design and implement the solution in order to define and ensure the successful delivery of systems supporting JPMC's customer. Gather requirements from product and business for financial banking features. Analyze requirements and create requirement documents. Execute risk analysis for any new requirement as well as communicate and document impact reports. Develop financial banking features, which includes auto save, account overview, profile, settings, trends, and alerts. Enhance existing features. Triage and troubleshoot defects or issues in existing features. Work closely with design teams to provide mobile friendly designs that work on different size android phones and tablets. Write unit test cases to make robust application and optimize crashes. Migrate code to androidX. Create custom, reusable, ADA compatible components. Implement analytics to capture different click events statistics based on business requirements. Design and develop full life cycle of android application.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Minimum education and experience required: This position requires a Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, or related field of study plus five (5) years of experience in the job offered or five (5) years of experience as a Software Engineer, IT Consultant, or related occupation.

Skills Required: This position requires five (5) years of experience with the following: designing and implementing Android applications; developing software applications using Java or Kotlin on the Android Studio IDE; developing, deploying, or supporting an enterprise size solution; assisting in all phases of the development life cycle; executing Agile development and related activities in areas such as daily scrum or weekly integration reviews; utilizing programming languages including Java and Kotlin; performing tests using unit testing frameworks; conducting automated testing; generating Android code that adapts to different screen size; connecting to back-end services from Android application with RESTFUL APIs; and utilizing JIRA, version control tools (GIT and Bitbucket), Google Wallet API, Samsung Pay API, Google Map's API, and FireBase Cloud Messaging.JPMorgan Chase & Co., one of the oldest financial institutions, offers innovative financial solutions to millions of consumers, small businesses and many of the world's most prominent corporate, institutional and government clients under the J.P.
