ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Promote a results-oriented culture of teamwork, respect, excellence, integrity and accountability


• Support development and troubleshooting of manufacturing processes for precision machined parts meeting the requirements of customers’ solid models and drawings


• Design and execute process trials; analyze and report results


• Support implementation of process recipes, metrology plans, and bills of routes


• Develop and deliver technical training and documentation


• Monitor process data to maximize utilization and minimize machine-generated scrap


• Encourage open communication and exchange of information within the Engineering department and between the various support groups


• Adhere to all safety and health rules and regulations


• Comply and follow all procedures within the company security policy


• May perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned

KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS 

• Experience in a machine shop environment preferred


• Motivated, takes initiative

• Good interpersonal skills suitable for manufacturing environment


• Excellent written and verbal communication skills


• Detail-oriented

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS

• High School Diploma (Associate Degree or Bachelor Degree preferred)


• 2 to 7 years of experience in a manufacturing technical or production role


• Or an equivalent combination of education, training or experience
