Our ideal candidates will have a passion and knowledge of influencer partnerships across all tiers of talent, branded video content, social platforms, digital media, the talent management space, and a proven track record of prospecting, negotiating and closing deals to support and fulfill the strategic objectives of Edelman’s clients. The ideal candidate will have the proven ability to manage and develop relationships across the social influencer landscape and will assist in the development of campaigns that fit within larger 360-degree integrated campaigns across a portfolio of clients in various verticals across the office.

 

 

This person will need to:


  • Source, build and maintain our proprietary influencer network of bloggers/vloggers, advocates and influencers.

  • Drive Edelman’s strategic vision in the cross-platform video/digital influencer space.

  • Have experience experimenting with new ways to leverage influencers to achieve client goals and the ability to constantly improve the way we work.

  • Distill actionable insights from the influencer landscape for our brands and work with our analytics team to measure the impact of influencer programming and deliver client reports.

  • Bring industry best practices forward as an architect of an evolving area as well as a gatherer from our other markets across our network.

  • Develop KPIs and benchmarks to measure and maximize influencer impact.

  • Architect and guide engagements, prioritize needs for the team, develop the technology recommendations to identify and manage our proprietary influencer network going forward, establishing budget, timeline and quality standards.

  • Oversee offline / online activations with influencers for our clients’ activations.

  • Actively source opportunities for influencer programming with existing clients in the Chicago office (as well as across the Edelman network nation-wide) and provide strategic recommendations on how influencers can amplify current and future initiatives.

Basic Qualifications:


  • At least 1-2 years of relevant Digital experience in your background (full time or Internship), but you may come from an advertising agency, digital agency or a progressive client-side marketing company role.

  • Experience working with influencer management agencies for emerging and established celebrities as well as bloggers/vloggers and consumer influencers without management.

  • Knowledge of Influencer tools or Influencer Marketing platforms.

  • Strong digital strategy and content skills, with a proven track record working with large brands in the digital and social space.

  • Experience managing multiple projects at once and the ability to organize campaigns to ensure success for clients.

  • Bachelor's degree required.

 

Desired Skills and Experience:


  • Experience in influencer marketing preferred, including maintaining relationships with influencers and management agencies, executing small and large influencer programs from start to finish.

  • Digitally-savvy with experience in social media, community management and/or marketing.

  • Creative problem-solving abilities.

  • Unbelievably organized and have the ability to execute and manage multiple programs across a variety of teams at one time.

  • Good analytical skills in both understanding marketer objectives and analyzing campaign performance.

  • Willingness to learn this emerging space and openness to taking on new challenges that will be new for the team and agency.
