Job Description:

Senior Branch Home Lending Advisor - Bilingual (English/Spanish) within Centralized Sales are required to build a relationship with our Streamlined offerings and Bi-Lingual customer base through inbound and outbound sales techniques to match the most appropriate Home Lending product with the customer's request or need.

Senior Branch Home Lending Advisors may serve client needs in all 50 states and must be familiar with associated programs, policies, and procedures.

Centralized Sales is a nationally scoped direct-to-consumer business with teams of Home Lending Advisors located in sales centers in Phoenix, Columbus, and Milwaukee.

Centralized Sales specializes in customer retention and new customer acquisition refinance transactions, purchase money mortgages, eCommerce originations, Corporate Relocation, and Home Equity in all 50 states. Leads for Centralized Sales are sourced from centrally managed direct mail, media advertising, cross sell efforts, statement programs, Chase.com, electronic newsletters, outbound lead sourcing, and other marketing efforts.

• Proactive Consultative Selling on inbound and outbound calls

• Ability to learn/retain complex Mortgage Products, Programs, and Policies for all 50 States

• Attention to detail while managing a pipeline of customers commensurate with a consolidated sales environment

• Attention to Customer Satisfaction with internal and external clients

• Proficiency with multiple advanced computer systems

• Ability to maintain composure in a high volume, fast paced environment

• Adaptability to change

Principal Duties and Responsibilities (in order of importance)

• Proactively converting inbound and outbound leads into Prime/FHA mortgage loan applications

• Recommend optimum product / rate program combinations to prospects.

• Consultative selling of first mortgages (Purchases, Refinance and Home Equity Loans in a telephone environment) knowing home lending guidelines; being familiar with the diversity of Chase products/services and the advantages of each; understanding the local market and the needs and priorities of the clients; keeping current with the mortgage industry and business/economic trends; knowing how to use automated programs/software to support the lending process

• Composure - remaining positive, focused, and even tempered in a fast paced, time sensitive environment and in challenging situations such as loan escalations.

• Collaboration - sharing information and expertise with partners and team members; working together to achieve work goals; being candid and honest with coworkers and referral sources; understanding the roles, priorities, and goals of other stakeholders in the mortgage process (including internal partners, customers, and referral sources).

• Ensure compliance with applicable statues and procedures.

• Provide feedback on lead quality.

• Accurately source all business, log all contacts with prospects.

• Meet required sales performance for pre-established funded loan volume goal.

Knowledge and Experience

• Demonstrated Sales Aptitude

• College degree preferred or 2 years equivalent work experience in sales

• Possess the fundamental understanding of the economic, real estate and banking trends.

• Proficient with Microsoft Applications (Word, Excel and PowerPoint)

• Extremely detail oriented. Highly organized with a demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a timely manner

• Demonstrated ability in providing superior customer service and consultative selling-Self motivation and demonstration of initiatives.

• Strong adherence to compliance regulations

Bilingual in English and Spanish Required

Unique Requirements

This position is subject to the Dodd Frank/Truth in Lending Act qualification requirements for Loan Originators. As such, an employment offer for this position is contingent on JPMC's review of your criminal conviction history, credit report, information available through NMLS, and any other information relevant to a determination by JPMC that you demonstrate financial responsibility, good character, and general fitness for the position. Note that any felony conviction within the last seven years will disqualify you from consideration for this position. Your continued employment in this position would be contingent upon compliance with Truth in Lending Act/Dodd Frank Loan Originator requirements.

In addition, this position requires National Mortgage Licensing System and Registry (NMLS) registration under the SAFE Act of 2008. As such, upon active employment with JPMorgan Chase, you will be required to either register on NMLS, or to update your existing registration as necessary to grant access to and reflect your employment with JPMorgan Chase. Your continued employment in this position with JPMorgan Chase is contingent upon compliance with the SAFE Act, including successful registration immediately after your start date, and timely completion of annual renewal and required updates thereafter.
