Job Description:

This role is part of the CB TS Revenue Management and Proposals team. It reports to the Commercial Banking Deal Pricing Manager (ED).

The mission of this role is to support the CBTS Deal Review process and extend the reach of the strategic pricing framework (benchmarks, guidelines, reporting and analytics) for Commercial Banking deals.

The CB Revenue Management and Proposals team consists of 55 team members, focused on pricing strategy, deal pricing, proposal writing, billing and analytics. We are a part of the CB Product organization and partner very closely not only across the Product Management team but also across the TS Sales teams. The successful applicant will be an energetic individual with the capability of multi-tasking and developing strong working partnerships across Commercial Banking functional areas.

Key responsibilities include but are not limited to:

• Strategy:


  • Assist manager in providing consulting and coaching to deal teams on how to structure and present complex cross-product deals for success
  • Assist manager in reviewing the end-to-end deal process and identify ways to streamline and simplify the approach while maintaining a risk and control discipline

• Execution:

  • Review deal pricing to confirm basic pricing logic (e.g. paper > manual, similar services priced the same)
  • Manage weekly CBTS Deal Review calendar, work with teams to ensure completeness, distribute deal packages and memorialize meeting notes and next steps in keeping with Audit risk and controls
  • Lead regular engagement with Product and Sales teams to clarify CBTS Deal Review requirements and provide practical advice on how to work within the guidelines
  • Produce monthly / quarterly reporting; synthesize results for observations and insights to share with our stakeholders which can include written and verbal presentations
  • Develop strong Internet Deal Model (IDM) skills and assist in identifying opportunities / requirements for enhancements and participate in testing of new functionality
  • Maintain CBTS SharePoint Deal library

Required skills:

  • Strong analytical and organizational skills
  • Advanced Excel, pivot tables and graphing required; PitchPRO+ presentation skills a plus
  • Strong team player who also feels a high degree of accountability and ownership
  • A positive "can-do" attitude, highly motivated to learn and grow
  • Strong communication skills; articulate and effective at participating in meetings and delivering presentations
  • Ability to multi-task and meet tight deadlines

Qualifications

  • TS Sales experience a plus
  • Deal pricing experience a plus
  • 3+ years relevant experience
  • Strong PC and other technical skills - Advanced Excel (including spreadsheet, graphing, pivot tables), SharePoint, Database Management, PitchPro+, Qlikview
