Job Description:

Caliber Public Safety is proud to deliver software solutions, technology and services of the highest caliber to hundreds of Public Safety agencies and communities throughout North America. Our specialized focus allows us to uniquely deliver the next generation of CAD, RMS, and Mobile applications to Public Safety agencies.

We are currently seeking a Solution Architect to work directly with the sales teams of Caliber’s Strategic Partners.

As the Solutions Architect you will work collaboratively on pre-sales efforts to compile the materials needed to demonstrate how our software solutions align to a prospect’s needs.  You will be resourceful in gathering the right stakeholders and content needed to compile a solution recommendation.  You possess excellent time management skills and represent our company with honesty and integrity, building strong relationships both internally and externally with partnership representatives.  You will bring your enthusiasm, passion and energy to this role and will stay focused on the end goal of increasing profitability and maximizing company growth. 

What your impact will be:

• Master and maintain knowledge of CPS’ core CAD, OnLine RMS and Mobile solutions


• Participate in needs assessment discussions and gather pertinent data to build the comprehensive end to end solution offering.


• Collaborate and build relationships with members of all departments within Caliber (PS, R&D, Sales and CS), understanding roles and resources to tap into for support as needed


• Coordinate and conduct presentations of the Caliber suite of products and services to Public Safety Agencies both on site and remotely.


• Assist with ad-hoc projects as needed


• Attend regional and national trade shows

What we are looking for:

• Bachelor’s Degree


• 2+ years of Sales and Project Management experience


• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written


• Self-motivated initiative taker


• Technical knowledge of on premise vs. SAAS and Hosted deployment options


• Experience with reporting and data analysis.


• A strong work ethic and the capacity to manage multiple projects at the same time in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines


• Ability to take direction and work independently to deliver results


• Develop and maintain relationships with fellow team members

What will make you stand out:

• Knowledge of Caliber Public Safety solutions (CAD, OnLine RMS and Mobile)


• Mastery of managing all aspects for conducting presentations remotely and in person. 


• Proficient in use of conferencing tools including Skype, Webex, GoToMeeting, etc.
