State Street seeks to recruit a Cybersecurity Architecture & Engineering leader to enable the transformation from both within Cyber Security, and the move to a fusion model, as well as the larger technology transformation across all of State Street.
This candidate should be a proven global security and operations leader who has experience in delivering outcomes with operational excellence and a focus on the customer and business needs. The candidate should have experience in large scale operations and transformations.

This leader will have a broad range of responsibilities within the Cyber team and will be responsible for the strategy and implementation of the new security architecture and engineering solutions required within State Street. Specifically this leader will have responsibility for Cybersecurity Architecture & Engineering and the key underlying capabilities to include but not limited to:
Design, build and implement enterprise-class security systems for a production environment
Align standards, frameworks and security with overall business and technology strategy
Design security architecture elements to mitigate threats as they emerge
Create solutions that balance business requirements with information and cyber security requirements
Create solutions and implementation plans to secure large data center and platform transformations
Identify security design gaps in existing and proposed architectures and recommend changes or enhancements
Communicated these standards and their implementation or conversion

Key Responsibilities
Design and build Cyber Architecture and Engineering to ensure the appropriate architecture and engineering solutions to support the cyber fusion model (in line with specified Fusion requirements)
Define a security architecture and provide engineering support to the larger State Street organization to ensure the Bank has a secure and effective architecture in place to support the transformation, including but not limited to global data center strategy and cloud migrations
Partner with and support the GTS CTO organization to ensure security standards and practices are available and meet the need of the organization
Build out and retain critical talent, along with the necessary supporting pipeline
Ensure existing obligations to the business and regulators are met within the specified timelines
Create visibility through effective metrics and reporting

Ideal Experience
15+ years of managerial experience in information security, a security related field or other complex information risk management function
Experience in global infrastructure operations, with focus on security and compliance needs.
Modern technical understanding and experience in security architecture, demonstrating solutions delivery, principles and emerging technologies - Designing and implementing security solutions. This includes continuous monitoring and making improvements to those solutions.
Consulting and engineering in the development and design of security best practices and implementation of solid security principles across the organization, to meet business goals along with customer and regulatory requirements.
Depth with modern technology stacks – network, infrastructure, automation, data science, machine learning, cloud, data center, campus/wireless, identity and access management (IAM)
Has lead teams in excess of 200 – FTE and contractors/outsourcers
