Cardiac Telemetry nurses are the master coordinators of the unit, juggling care for their patients while keeping the entire health care team on the same page. They have high-level critical thinking skills, vast clinical knowledge, and are able to stay calm under pressure.

53 licensed bed Cardiac Telemetry Unit

RESPONSIBILITIES:
*
Under the general direction of the Director, coordinates and provides patient care and assumes individual responsibility and accountability for the provision of nursing care.
*
Nursing care is provided in accordance with hospital policies and procedures, applicable state Nursing Practice Acts, ANA Standards of Practice, and the generic and unit structure standards.
*
Adult patients between 18 to 64 years; and geriatric patients 65 years and older.
QUALIFICATIONS
WHAT QUALIFICATIONS YOU WILL NEED
* Graduate of school of nursing required. BSN preferred.
* Currently licensed as a registered professional nurse in the state(s) of practice and/or has an active compact license, in accordance with law and regulation.
* Ability to achieve and maintain BCLS certification required. ACLS certification required within 90 days of hire.
* No previous experience required other than clinical rotations required as part of the degree completion. Prior experience in a similar size facility with similar services provided is preferred.
