ULTRASOUND TECHNOLOGIST - PRN (AS NEEDED)

Location: Medical City Plano

Ultrasound Technologist Job Summary:

Performs and assists with high quality diagnostic, neuro and vascular ultrasound procedures, focusing on patient care and education. Supports and helps achieve departmental goals. Effectively participates and promotes Star Service skills to include service recovery.

Ultrasound Technologist Job Responsibilities:

* Provide high quality ultrasound procedures.

* Maintain appropriate records.

* Deliver customer focused care utilizing the Star Service Standards to include the transport of patients as necessary to facilitate optimal patient care/flow.

* Educate patients and families.

QUALIFICATIONS

Ultrasound Technologist Job Qualifications:

* Graduate or Certificate of a Professional school of Sonography.

* ARDMS Ultrasonographer or ARRT RT (S) required.

* BLS required.

* ARDMS RVT or ARRT RT (VS) required within 6 months of hire.

* Prefer 1 year of prior Ultrasound experience to include Vascular, OB, Abdomen, Neuro, and/or Trauma patients.
