Radiology Technologist at Westroads Rheumatology Associates PC in Omaha, Nebraska

Job Description:

Westroads Rheumatology Associates is seeking a Radiology Technician to work in our busy practice.

Duties include but are not limited to:

- Provide patient care by obtaining quality radiographs under the direction of the Physicians/Advanced practice registered nurse/Advanced Physician assistant by adhering to patient care standards that assure high quality care and service to patients.

- Communicate effectively with patients and health care team members within the Westroads Rheumatology Associates and outside agencies to facilitate patient care.- Contributes to overall delivery of patient care by completing additional duties and tasks as directed to facilitate radiology and clinic operations.

- Collects, observes, reports and documents appropriate data required for regulatory agencies and to assure quality patient care.- Demonstrates continued involvement in self professional growth by participating in developing personal education objectives, completes education requirements to meet certification and ensure high patient outcomes.

- Other duties as assigned

Required Qualifications:

- Graduated of an accredited school of Radiology- Currently registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) required.- Licensed by the state of Nebraska as a medical radiographer required.- Current CPR certification- Experienced in or currently certified in Bone Density Scanning preferred
