Wintrust Commercial Banking is looking for a dynamic a Commercial Real Estate Lender (CRE) to join our team. The right individual will have a proven track record in lending with 7 years of commercial real estate experience. This is an officer level position which requires proficiency in all areas of commercial banking, superior credit skills, and customer service and negotiations skills as well as significant bank product knowledge.

Manage existing commercial loan customer base and develop new business from referral sources and through cold calling efforts.

• Increase the Bank's profitability by cultivating new commercial business relationships


• Maintain and develop existing portfolio by assessing and meeting client's business and personal needs


• Negotiate proper loan structure and effectively cross sell products


• Maintain properly documented files and manage renewals and collection efforts on past dues and defaulted loans


• Maintains comprehensive understanding of current on commercial products offered in the market and keeps informed of all relevant industry trends and practices.

Education & Experience:

• B achelor's Degree in Finance, Economics or related quantitative field.


• 7-10 years' experience in Commercial Real Estate banking and 3-5 years managing a portfolio of clients.


• High ethical standards and personal integrity.

Desired Skills:

• Knowledge of federal and state regulations covering commercial banking activities.
