This trusted community-based Cancer Center is actively interviewing for an ARRT and CRT Licensed Radiation Therapy Lead to manage a strong team of Oncology Radiation professionals. The Radiation Therapy Lead will join an organization that’s earned local and national acclaim for its commitment to nurturing a holistic continuum of care. With services ranging from infusion and radiation oncology, to nuclear medicine and surgical services, this cancer center continues to push the boundaries of modern oncology patient care.

Reporting to the Director of Radiation Oncology Services, the Radiation Therapy Lead will lead a department of experienced Radiation Therapists. Supported by a department of 15 ARRT and CA Licensed CRT professionals, this person will lead clinical and administrative services in a busy outpatient service line.

Supporting an outstanding team of Radiation Oncology Physicians, and a fragile population of patients who are frequently receiving other Cancer Treatments, the Lead of Radiation Oncology will get the opportunity to work in a technologically advanced and progressive cancer center. This department offers many of the latest, cutting-edge treatments available including external beam radiation therapy and stereotactic radiosurgery via an Elekta Versa HD Linear Accelerator. Being a department that operates under a multidisciplinary approach, collaboration and cooperation are a key skill for the Lead, as this person will work across departmental and organizational boundaries.

This is an exciting position to consider, as the Radiation Therapy Lead will have a diverse role to play within the organization. Clinically, the Lead will manage processes around continuous education for the CRT / ARRT Licensed Therapists, and will play a large part in administrating continuous quality improvement initiatives for the department. These quality initiatives are both in patient care and in efficiency. On the Administrative side, the Lead will assist in developing the departmental budget, and will actively lead financial management with regards to equipment, materials, and labor.
