This hospital has built a great reputation in Central Kansas for excellent patient care and outstanding services. This community-oriented medical center offers services in acute care, long term care, emergency, rehabilitation, outpatient procedures, radiology, and laboratory. The facility that has been a staple of the community for years, and the incoming Chief Nursing Officer will play a large role in keeping it that way.
Reporting to the Chief Executive Officer (CEO), the Chief Nursing Officer will provide direction for the Acute Care Unit, Intermediate Swing Bed Unit, and the Health Clinic. Directly supporting the CNO are departmental managers as well as an outstanding team of Acute Care RNs, Inpatient Nursing Assistants, and Outpatient Healthcare Staff. The CNO will also have the opportunity to work with Healthcare Leaders in a collaborative environment that advances patient care.
The Chief Nursing Officer will work closely with medical providers to ensure quality patient care that is cost effective and in compliance with federal and state regulation. This person will evaluate nursing operations for the hospital, manage budget, and assist in driving operational goals. The CNO acts as a transformative leader and change agent working to develop and improve policies and procedures for the hospital.
