An accredited acute care hospital located in upstate New York is currently searching for experienced full-time Respiratory Therapists to join their award-winning healthcare team.

This fully accredited acute care medical center is home to nearly 200 licensed beds and is proud to offer 24-hour emergency and trauma care, as well as a number of medical and surgical specialties. This facility is also recognized as a proud affiliate of a regional university for physicians and surgeons. The full-time Respiratory Therapist will join a healthcare network that strives to advance the delivery of patient care, medical teaching and research, and always adapts to maintain quality healthcare for the surrounding regions.

The Respiratory Therapist will join a fast-paced medical team that provides respiratory care in a variety of inpatient hospital settings. The full-time Respiratory Therapist will provide therapeutic intervention to patients dealing with respiratory diseases, such as asthma, bronchitis, emphysema, or patient requiring mechanical ventilation. The Respiratory Therapist will utilize a number of procedures and therapies including pulmonary functions, aerosol treatments, pulse oximetry, and aerosolized medications.

The Respiratory Therapist will assist the physician by helping to restore normal respiratory function in critically ill patients throughout the hospital. The Respiratory Therapist will be expected to work with pediatric, adult, and geriatric patients. This position requires prior clinical experience as a licensed Respiratory Therapist and current NYS licensure as a Respiratory Therapist.
