The Hospital Urologist Physician will be responsible for providing urology consultations, responding to Emergency Department and Medical Surgical unit’s requested consultations, referring patients to specialists, examining, diagnosing and treating patients with genitourinary organs and tract disorders, performing abdominal, pelvic, or retroperitoneal surgeries as needed, and prescribing and administering antibiotics, antiseptics, or compress when treating infections and injuries. The Hospital Urologist will also order, perform, and interpret diagnostic tests, followed by documenting and reviewing patients’ histories. 

The ideal Hospital Urologist Physician will hold their M.D. or equivalent degree, the ability to obtain and maintain a New York Medical License, and is currently a general urologist. The hospital was is seeking a physician with strong bedside manners, positive, excellent at communicating, team oriented, and excited to cross collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop individualized patient care plans.
