The hospital leadership team is actively interviewing to hire a Patient Advocate that has experience working in acute care hospitals. The RN Patient Safety Advocate will work with senior level leadership at two locations and will be exposed to industry leading practices related to patient safety and infection control. The RN Patient Safety Coordinator will work two healthcare facilities totaling 90 patient beds. 

The RN Patient Advocate works collaboratively with Risk/ Quality Management, Performance Improvement, and Infection Prevention teams to provide a patient-centered and safe environment for patients to receive necessary medical care. Leaning on their understanding of The Joint Commission, National Patient Safety Goals, National Quality Forum and Leapfrog Safe Practices, the RN Patient Safety Coordinator plays a pivotal role in the ongoing success of this medical center. The RN Patient Safety Coordinator will conduct root cause analysis of events and implement comprehensive programs to reduce future risk. The QAPI leadership team embraces collaboration and strategic planning to ensure new policies and procedures are implemented only after all options have been thoroughly considered.
