Job Description:

JOB DESCRIPTION SUMMARY:

Daily and monthly journal entries associated with customer disputes, expense corrections, write-offs, and account reconciliations and analysis. Assist with research projects specifically related to the vendor, customer, and general ledger account balances. Provide professional assistance to other Accounting team members as needed to meet deadlines. Other duties may include reviewing and adjusting employee tool loans, loan administration and analysis, expense analysis, audit data request assistance, and special project support as needed.

 

COMPETENCIES LIST AND DESCRIBE:  

Basic understanding of accounting standards and processes. Intermediate knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word. Basic knowledge of DBS and CODA. Able to communicate accounting matters with internal and external customers in a professional and positive manner. Detail-oriented and willing to multitask. Strong organizational skills in order to meet strict deadlines. Strong research skills relating to corporate compliance issues. Must have the ability to work with data from multiple sources and systems.

 

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting required. Two – Four years’ experience in Accounting preferred.

 

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

Primary functions require sufficient physical ability and mobility to work in an office setting; to stand or sit for prolonged periods of time; to occasionally stoop, bend, kneel, crouch, reach, and twist; to lift, carry, push, and/or pull light to moderate amounts of weight; to operate office equipment requiring repetitive hand movement and fine coordination including use of a computer keyboard; and to verbally communicate to exchange information. The noise level in the work environment is usually quiet in the office settings and moderate to loud in other situations, with both constant and sudden loud noises possible.
