Position: Salesforce Administrator

Job Description:

Forward is currently seeking an experienced Salesforce Administrator, familiar with Sales, Service and Marketing Cloud modules. The Salesforce Administrator is responsible for providing value to the business by automating complex business processes, creating reports and dashboards, and training users on using Salesforce. The Salesforce Administrator will also work closely with executive team members daily and reports directly to the Executive Team. Although the responsibilities encompass mostly Salesforce administration, we are also looking for someone with experience in Tableau reporting as well to provide basic reporting to Sales teams.

Core Responsibilities & Duties:

  • Be responsible for the day-to-day configurations, support, maintenance, and improvement of our platform
  • Serve as primary system administrator, handling all basic administrative functions, including user account maintenance, reports, and dashboards, workflows, and other routine tasks
  • Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades
  • Document system processes and implement a Change Control process
  • Manage the Salesforce data feeds and other integrations within the organization
  • Coordinate the evaluation, scope, and completion of new development requests
  • Assist in training of new users and grow the Salesforce skillset across the organization
  • Work closely with functional leaders, organization units, and subject matter experts to identify, develop, and deploy new business processes
  • Comfortable with Tableau report development (tableau reports are delivered via Salesforce)
  • Effectively act as the liaison between our users, vendors, and the application development teams
  • Work independently with the members of the user community to define and document development requirements
  • Other duties as assigned


  • 2+ years of professional experience as a Salesforce Administrator
  • 2+ years of experience in Sales/Business Development support
  • Salesforce Administrator certifications highly preferred; other Salesforce certifications are a big plus (Sales Cloud, Service Cloud, Marketing Cloud)
  • Track record of success in designing, implementing, and improving processes and adopting using the Salesforce platform
  • A demonstrated ability to meet deadlines, handle and prioritize simultaneous requests, and manage laterally and upwards
  • Creative and analytical thinker with strong problem-solving skills, and strong data management abilities
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively at all levels of the organization
  • A documented history of successfully driving projects to completion
  • A demonstrated ability to understand and articulate complex requirements
  • Ability to assess the impact of new requirements on Salesforce and all upstream and downstream applications, systems, and processes
