Retail Branch Manager

This position is responsible for providing assistance in effectively managing the entire member experience upon visiting the branch and will be responsible for the observation and coaching of staff, conducting financial transactions, opening new accounts, and assisting members with loans.  Duties include but are not limited to:  communicate and implement service strategies and techniques to foster greater member relationships and satisfaction and monitor the level of quality service to members through a versatile, well-trained, highly qualified, and highly motivated staff.  This position will also lead and conduct weekly staff meetings, track and post weekly sales goals and results, coach and counsel staff on sales and service performance, provide development opportunities for employees and generate new business by providing consultative approaches to matching retail products and services to existing members to include out bound calls to potential business members. 

 

The ideal candidate will provide strong leadership, direction, and supervision to entire branch office, and actively perform as a strategic part of the Management Team. The successful candidate will possess a four year degree or equivalent work experience with a retail focused background, demonstrated leadership ability, and a minimum 2 years of supervisory experience.  They will also have excellent communication skills, loan decision making experience and the ability to assess needs, implement plans, and handle confidential information appropriately.  This candidate will have a strong entrepreneurial spirit and a passion for creating an exceptional service culture.
