Job Description:

DCCU currently has an opening for a Commercial Advisor in their Business Services Department.  This position is tasked with building positive and long lasting commercial relationships with member and non-member business owners.  This position will be responsible for exploring and pursing new markets for loan products, analyzing loan requests and preparing written evaluations and recommendations for approvals, as well as coordinating the loan closings.  Job duties include but are not limited to:  communicate and implement sales and service techniques, generate new business by professionally presenting and selling business related products and services and counsel staff to improve sales performance and relationship building, maintain and grow a portfolio including moderately complex relationships.

 

The successful candidate will possess a High School diploma or equivalent with 5 or more years of commercial lending experience.  They should have a professional attitude with the ability to lead and supervise.   This candidate will also have the ability to prioritize and organize workflow with attention to detail.  They should also have the ability to read, analyze, and interpret financial reports, legal documents, and procedures and regulations.   This candidate will also possess a strong desire for developing relationships and a commitment to service.
